We really enjoyed our stay, for the convenient location, the warmth of the owners, the comfort and beauty of our room as well as the whole hotel and the quiet and romantic setting of this well renowated ancient "masseria". The three sisters who own and operate this hotel were always extremely kind and helpful with every information and suggestion we asked and, last but not least, the breakfast is fantastic, with every kind of fresh made pastry and organic fruits.

This is the first time we visited Puglia and the first time we stayed in this type of accommodation, which is basically a farm transformed into a into a hotel. What I particularly liked about the Masseria Carignani was that the owners have kept the original farm buildings and surroundings in tact and tastefully modernised the guest quarters so that the two together form a harmonious whole. This aspect combined with the factor of very friendly staff made our stay there extremely pleasant.

The rooms were very clean, the family that ran the messerie were very friendly and helpful.
The owners were only present from 8 until 2pm. and from 6pm until 8pm. No check in possible from 2pm until 6pm. Also, WiFi only worked in the breakfast room which was locked when owners were not present.

The hotel staff is extremely nice and willing to help with all your questions. Moreover, the place and the location are beautiful! The pastries and fruit for breakfast are also extremely good.
A swimming pool good be welcome, as well as some indications of the location of the hotel next to the main road. But these really are small details...
